SAHAR was founded in South Carolina in 1993. Its mission is to perform Lebanese and Middle Eastern music in the South. It made its public debut in 1995 at the Lawrence Cafe in Atlanta, and has since performed in most of the major cities and states of the southeast for all types of occasions.
The members of SAHAR strive above all to express their heritage in music and song and to produce quality performances and musically upbeat yet genuinely traditional events. They are professionals in their own fields as well as being experienced serious performers.
